Hi,

I know this has been asked before. The solution was to change the file /etc/issue to like "Debian GNU/Linux 8.3".
However i still get the error above.

It was working fine on debian jessie but i recently upgraded to 9.0. I would like to reinstall the vestacp.

Is there maybe another workaround for this?

Thank you for your time!

Hi,

Thank you for your reply! Well i could do that but i would lose all my settings on the virtual private server.
It is on debian 9.0 now. If i would reinstall everything i would lose alot of work in settings and vpns which are still working fine on the virtual private server. I think i will just wait till vesta supports debian 9.0 aswell. Which is hopefully within a few months...
