In this situation I always choose to use a new server with an new version of the operating system.

Then I'm migrating the services from one server to another.

Operating system upgrade almost always impact the services running on the server.

ubuntu 21.10 is much faster than 18.04 in both boot up and running, I have a server installed with nginx and the response time it almost twice as fast as 18.04, I'm hoping vesta will migrate soon, thanks to all

Maybe for Ubuntu it's better to use HestiaCP (which is a clone of VestaCP) because it's specific to Debian and Ubuntu.

On CentOS I also had problems with updating Roundcube and for now I'm using version 1.5.2.

I had trouble upgrading round cube period on ubuntu 18 and still haven't, the structure isn't normal on VestaCP, also round cube doesn't like php8, they are working on it, I have mine set to php 7.4

VestaCP Will most likely break upgrading to 21.04 or 21.10

There have been a lot of changes with Authentication, IPtables and Exim...

I suggest "Upgrading" to MyVestaCP or HestiaCP
