I never able to install Vesta on either Debian / Ubuntu
Dear Skid,
Please tell me what's wrong with my VestaCP installation. Whenever I try to install VestaCP on both Debian and Ubuntu, I always stuck at http://i43.tinypic.com/34yqic1.jpg
What should I do?
I have no problem with CentOS 6.5 though, but I do really want to use Debian 7 instead.
Big Thanks

1. Just exectute:
#bash vst-install.sh --force
The easiest way, in my opinion.
2. Else, follow read the screenshot you posted carefully and do accordingly (change mysql root password and others).

Is VestaCP compatible with Debian 7?
Re: I never able to install Vesta on either Debian / Ubuntu
In that case, do this as root:
#apt-get purge mysql*
#bash vst-install.sh --force
And when the installer asks for mysql-password, type one of your choice.
It runs fairly well in wheezy (debian7).

Finally I'm able to install VestaCP on Debian 7 64 bit, and only 64 bit. I've tried numerous times, the 32 bit is somehow limiting the installation.
I wonder why that happen.

It is supposed to install with no problems on a "clean" debian 7. I've installed it yesterday on a 32 bit Debian 7. Everything went well. Have you tried to purge mysql packages prior installation?

Hi Skid,
I tried to install VestaCP on a fresh Debian installation. I also noticed that Apache2 was installed, not Mysql.
Could it caused by bad apt sources?
Anyway, when will you release PHP-FPM version and integrate Filemanager into VestaCP (that will be awesome)?
You are great by the way, love you :p

Did you checked checksums of the iso of debian 7 after downloading from debian.org? Maybe your 32bit installation iso itself is corrupt!VestaLover wrote:Finally I'm able to install VestaCP on Debian 7 64 bit, and only 64 bit.
