Issues with adding users!

Post by spindiggy » Fri Oct 17, 2014 1:57 am

I was testing out everything under the admin account. But now I see there is no default server properties.

So when you create a new user, add a web domain, you have to jump back and forth between web and dns to set the correct name servers.

SOA has a default value of ns1.localhost.ltd

If you try to edit this to your name server, you get this, Error: argument template is not valid (empty)

If the name servers and hostname is correct on the server and Vesta, why are these values not pre-set when creating user accounts?

Thanks,
Chris

Hello,

Sorry for my english but i'm french.

You can edit the default DNS server for new user account in 'Packages'. After, when you create new user with this package, the user have the good SOA value.
