It's ok, this version not supported now.
I heard Ubuntu 16.04 LTS final release will be in april 2016. Too early for support this os version.

If you badly want to play with new toy, you can try to be a little trick :)

You can change 14.04 to 16.04 and try to install.

Code: Select all

$ cat /etc/issue
Ubuntu 14.04 LTS \n \l

Code: Select all

$ cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
DISTRIB_RELEASE=14.04
DISTRIB_CODENAME=trusty
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 14.04 LTS"
But you can remember:
- there is no guarantees
- there is no support for this version (soft not for this os)
- be careful with this in production

Nice, in russian branch this recipe help install VestaCP to Linux Mint.

PS: Please, don't use bold everywhere, it's confusing ;-)

Hasn't the situation changed? 16.04 beta1 has already been released.
P.S. I thought about installing Ubuntu 16.04 beta1 on my notebook and I need Vesta there in real OS, not in oraclebox (because it works perfectly in real OS).
