SFTP with visible Root Dir
SFTP with visible Root Dir
In Debian 8.2 ProFTPd runs correctly, FTP and sFTP (ports 21 and 22) runs ok without root dir...
I upgraded to "testing" (9.1) and now all users can see root dir / (normal FTP through port 21 runs fine), this will be "unsafe" but... i try to upload a file (in /root for example) and get permission denied... (i think its safe atm..)
May be a version error? if i rollback to 1.0 (Debian 8.2 version) it will run correct again?

Code: Select all
Command: cd "root"
Error: Directory /root: permission denied
Error: Error al recuperar el listado del directorio
Re: SFTP with visible Root Dir
We have not tested work and stability in 9.x - it's a little early for this. There is nothing to say about it, sorry ;-(
