How to create a ftp user to show the content of web folder
How to create a ftp user to show the content of web folder
I have multiple users under my VestaCP, one of my clients need a ftp account to access all the websites so I want to give him access to "/home/user_name/web/", how can I do that?
At the moment if I gave him the username under vesta he can access /home/user_name/ and under this folder we have "conf" folder and I don't want him accessing this folder.

Re: How to create a ftp user to show the content of web folder
simply give him his vestaCP user/pass
And you must put all his websites under this user. After this he can login to FTP server with IP or any sitename and use his VestaCP user/pass.
For example : VestaCP user with name customer1 with password :xyz123
So FTP Server: any site name or IP
FTP User : customer1
FTP password :xyz123
Once he logs in, he will have access to his root folder : /home/<vestuser>/
