Softaculous installation mistakenly sees VPS as dedicated server

Dear Admin.
I've got VestaCP installed on a VPS from HostUS.us with the following specs:
Disk Size: 20 GB
Memory: 768 MB & 768 MB vSwap
Virtualization: OpenVZ
When I installed VestaCP I did that from the bash command from VestaCP installation page:
When I wanted to try out the premium version and pay Softaculous for a license for a VPS, a message comes up that says the license number that was generated by the Softaculous installation was for a dedicated server, not a VPS.
Is there anything I can do with the installation so that the license number will correctly show as being for a VPS when it is a VPS?
Reason I ask is that the softaculous license for a dedicated server is double that of a VPS.
