Little hope.About Sales System Interface
Hello,
Since you support Whmcs, why not support Hostbill or Boxbilling
Or more of the other sales systems
Hostbill: www.hostbillapp.com
Boxbilling: www.boxbilling.com
This is a small desire
I wish you have a good day
Thank you

Nightstryke, I have looked at a lot of the open source options, and I found they all were not very user friendly, and a lot of them were buggy or insecure. I am using Blesta now, and although it is not licensed as open source, almost all the code (99.1% according to them) is open and able to be audited or modified. The code is clean and documented well and the whole system seems to be very secure. I highly suggest you check them out.nightstryke wrote:It's always Paid Billing Systems with you guys, where's the love for Open Source?

Yeah you're missing the point here, it's not open source and while I hear Blesta is nice, it might as well be WHMCS as it's not bringing anything new to the table other than a semi-different pricing scheme and different layout of how they do billing.flangefrog wrote:Nightstryke, I have looked at a lot of the open source options, and I found they all were not very user friendly, and a lot of them were buggy or insecure. Re: Little hope.About Sales System Interface
I don't fully agree that Blesta doesn't bring anything new to the table (and I accept there are some important features they need to add), but the point I was making is just like open source software, if you want something new or completely different you can build it into Blesta yourself. Just because I'm curious what major new features do you use with the open source billing software you mentioned that isn't in Blesta/WHMCS/etc? I'm not against open source at all, in fact I use a lot of open source projects, but I found that for my needs Blesta was much better than any of the open source alternatives.nightstryke wrote:Yeah you're missing the point here, it's not open source and while I hear Blesta is nice, it might as well be WHMCS as it's not bringing anything new to the table other than a semi-different pricing scheme and different layout of how they do billing.flangefrog wrote:Nightstryke, I have looked at a lot of the open source options, and I found they all were not very user friendly, and a lot of them were buggy or insecure. Re: Little hope.About Sales System Interface
I am making the point that the lack of interest in supporting Open-Source Billing Solutions and always running straight to pay method only encourages more companies to start-up and do the same. Anything to make a buck.
The lack of interest greatly irritates me to no end that everyone has been literally brain washed by the market and always run to the pay method instead of trying to drum up interest in an Open-Source solution. Sure on one hand it's not great to make a buck using Open-Source Software, but if more interest were drummed up Companies using that Software would be willing to donate or pay for situational support which in turn could help fund or partially-fund these projects.
