Questions, Vestacp with CloudFlare settings.
I'm having doubts about the use of Vestacp with with CloudFlare.
My setup is: VPS -> CloudFlare -> DNS.
How to configure correctly? The emails are not arriving.
The DNS settings VestaCP influence on CloudFlare?

I remember Graham wrote a script to incorporate CloudFlare, but he never released it. He was going to email it to me, but i guess he's been busy.

It would be great if you had something that helped in the configuration.nightstryke wrote:I remember Graham wrote a script to incorporate CloudFlare, but he never released it. He was going to email it to me, but i guess he's been busy.
But the final, I using the CloudFlare, need to configure DNS in VestaCP? Or can I disable VestaCP DNS and stay only with the CloudFlare?

I though't I'd sent over the php class and a sample script that I used, didn't you get it? My project was a central hub server managing many Vesta servers via the Vesta API so it didn't actually add anything to Vesta itself.
I have never used the VestaCP DNS marcelocaetano. I remove all of the DNS records and the DNS services on every Vesta server. 90% of the time I use Cloudflare only for DNS and have never had a problem (including mail routing).marcelocaetano wrote:It would be great if you had something that helped in the configuration.nightstryke wrote:I remember Graham wrote a script to incorporate CloudFlare, but he never released it. No need to worry about the DNS in Vesta at all. Simply point your domain to the nameservers given by CloudFlare, point CloudFlare to the IP address assigned to your domain in Vesta, and there is nothing you would need to worry about unless one of the two fail. Vesta would not fail for any reason specific to you using CloudFlare for DNS, nor would CloudFlare fail for any reason specific to you using Vesta.marcelocaetano wrote:It would be great if you had something that helped in the configuration.nightstryke wrote:I remember Graham wrote a script to incorporate CloudFlare, but he never released it. This isn't necessarily true. Using Cloudflare on your server provides a powerful caching utility. Using Nginx as a front end reverse proxy can also be a powerful caching utility. Two powerful caching utilities working against each other provides for a very erratic website. This is an instance where vesta and cloudflare could cause one another to fail.jarland wrote:No need to worry about the DNS in Vesta at all. Hi.
I have ssl errors. If I use cloudflare as proxy. I can't open any site on vesta. If I disable orange cloud . Using direct trafic gray cloud. I do not have issues.
