Sorting domains

Post by snakehill » Thu Aug 06, 2015 1:27 pm

Is there any way to sort the domains showing up under Web? I wish to have them alphabetically to make it seem a bit more sorted. I have tried editing the httpd.conf file (putting it from Z-A with the default domain on top), but it doesn't seem to change the order within VestaCP. And when I click 'Rebuild Web' for the user in question, it actually resets the httpd.conf to how it's showing up in Vesta instead of the other way around.

Thanks!

Well, there no thing like sort(ing) in VestaCP. If you like, you can add a Idea - http://bugs.vestacp.com/
It's really nice idea.

Yep, this command re-make web configs and no more.

I will be adding it shortly. ^^

But.. where does VestaCP in case of 'Rebuilding user/web' pull the domain order from? Given if I edit the httpd.conf and do just that, it resets the info in the file altogether, meaning the order must be saved somewhere else as well. Just so that I could somewhat get around it in the meantime.

Hmm, pretty nice question. think it's something from code. We know users (/usr/local/vesta/web/list/user/index.php) and get domain from this users (/usr/local/vesta/web/list/web/index.php).

I dig having the feature and the many sorting options. Made my life a lot easier, so a major thanks and great job are in place!

But.. I wish there was a way the options of choice were saved, that I don't have to click twice to sort each list as pleased every single time. Even a simple cookie to remember the last sorting option per list page would make it more user friendly.

It's really the only part the feature falls short at. It couldn't be better otherwise!

This seems nice. You can add the idea. https://bugs.vestacp.com
