I think it's from php - garbage collectors. Delete or not? Up to you, but if long time not to delete sessions, it is possible to encounter problems with the hdd (no space or no inodes).

thanks for all the suggestions and advices. Actually, I have backed up all the files and removed those files. I haven't seen that many frozen messages since then.

I also removed newrelic.ini file to see how it goes.

it's me again.

I am getting back here for one more question regrading frozen messages. All seems to be very good since I deleted all those files but I still get 1 or 2 frozen messages time to time due to some issue opening pem file

unable to open private key file for reading: /etc/exim4/domains/domain.com/dkim.pem or /home/user/conf/mail/domain.com/dkim.pem

Any idea what to check or try ?
