-su: chkconfig: command not found

sudo apt-get remove --purge iptables
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install iptables
Re: Iptables stopped after install
It will remove and install but Ubuntu doesn't seem to have any control over it besides that. Still all 0's in Vesta.
Re: Iptables stopped after install

1/ go to /usr/local/vesta/data/firewall directory
2/ you have to create 2 files :
ports.conf
PROTOCOL='TCP' PORT='20'
PROTOCOL='TCP' PORT='21'
PROTOCOL='TCP' PORT='22'
PROTOCOL='TCP' PORT='25'
PROTOCOL='UDP' PORT='53'

Re: Iptables stopped after install
I realise this is a old topic.
Anyway, I have the same problem on Debian 7 and have not been able to find a working solution.
Will this issue be fixed in the next VestaCP update?
