If i change my root password for vestacp server will this affect anything?

I am talking about the system root account. I do not believe i locked it down after. I feel i put a weak password and i believe there is a couple places where the root password is used in the Config Files for Vesta.

Could some one explain or guide on how to do this update?

As i know Vesta not related with a system root user.
So, you can change root password without any VestaCP affect .
