Restore one domain from backup
Restore one domain from backup
Hi. A recent convert from Virtualmin, I am very impressed with simplicity of VestaCP so thank you to the designers.
If you restore a backup from the UI you can select what domains and options are restored. However if you are transferring the backup to a new server the backup file does not appear in the ui and you restore from the CLI (example "v-restore-user admin admin.2014-01-14.tar"). However this restores the entire admin account with no option for a partial restore.
Is there any way to do a partial restore?
Cheers
Andy

Re: Restore one domain from backup
1. Manually
2. You can restore all then delete unnecessary domains

Only problem there would be if you wanted to leave the other domains untouched but just restore one. Rather than over writing.
