Sk-Selector problems
Sk-Selector problems
So in the past i have installed the sk-selector and changed php versions without any problems. i'm using Apache/2.4.43 (codeit).
The problem is, if i change my php version on any website, apache fails. http wont start in any way, if i switch back to default i get everything online, this looks like some kind of apache problem not sure if 2.4 is the way to go so i'm explaining it:
I try php 7.3, http restart failed.
i check the errors:
httpd: Syntax error on line 58 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 2 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/vesta.conf: Syntax error on line 33 of /home/admin/conf/web/xxxx.eu.httpd.ssl.conf: Include/IncludeOptional: No matches for the wildcard 'shttpd.xxxx.eu.conf*
i go check for problems, config says httpd.sitename.tld.conf* apache complaints about it, i try to fix the name, get stuck in this for about 1h then i decided to just comment the line, then the problem goes up top on another line:
apache does not know what the FCGIWrapper is supposed to do. i comment that line well.. php is not executed but the server runs.
looks like my version of apache somehow went bad and i have no idea how to be able to use php7 so i changed my system default php installation to 7.3 and that problem went away, however, i need to put in the web options on vesta the website with default php version to run, now not even one single CNAME works, all cnames that i had pointing to my server just say 404 page not found.
not even downgrading fixes this cname problem.
I really thing my apache is messed up. any ideas?
