change DocumentRoot
change DocumentRoot
Hi,
I would like to change the (default) DocumentRoot for all (new) websites, because there are quite some websites on this server and the paths must not change.
On my server now the websites are on this location; /home/wwwroot?%DOMAIN%/docs -> index.html etc
The default location for Vesta is; /home/%USER%/web/%WEBSITE%/public_html
I would like to change this default path /home/%USER%/web/%WEBSITE%/public_html to /home/wwwroot?%DOMAIN%/docs.
I Also would like to change the location for the default location of the apache2.conf file to /etc/apache2/%NAMEDIR%
I've looked around but i cant seem to find the files to configure this. I do have found the file to change the default homedir when creating a new user.
Hope someone can give me a push in right direction.
Thnx!

Re: change DocumentRoot
robby, it's not that simple and you need to change a lot.
Besides, there is no guarantee that in the end will not be any problems
You can start with templates:
/usr/local/vesta/data/templates/web/
