File Manager multiple file compress issues
  • Quote

Post by Swift-R » Wed Feb 17, 2016 12:11 am

I have just purchased both the SFTP Chroot and the File Manager plugins and I am extremely happy with the first one but not so much with the File Manager.

I believe that, for $50 or $3/month, a file manager should have much more features. For example, a text/code editor. Edit: Just noticed it does include an editor! The browser wasn't allowing the popup window to open...

But the main problem is with file archive feature. The first time I tried to select multiple files/folders and then click ARCHIVE, it created a .gz file with some files I don't even have. The next tries I couldn't even compress more than one file at once.

Just tried myself, it only compress the last file that you have selected even though you have multiple files/dir selected, the only way you can compress multiple files/dirs is to compress the main directory which contains those files and dirs. Would be nice if that can be supported in future releases to compress multiple directories and files.
