Reinstall - migrate user problem

Hi,

I am fairly new to Vesta and can't find how to fix this on Centos 7.

I have uninstalle Vesta with:
# systemctl stop vesta
# yum remove vesta*
# rm -rf /usr/local/vesta

After this i re-installed Vesta using the installation script. I now want to migrate my users from backup.
vesta-restore-user <name> <backupfile> I get: No such file or directory. The file does exist though.
v-list-users says that my user exists (from the old installation)
v-delete-user says that the same user does exist.

Same thing using the Vesta web GUI.

Any way to fix this?

Regards,

Lord Gantry

Hi,

I found that I could use files in root/vst_install_backups/ to fix things

Only minor problem now is that I have some users listed that I can't delete. They exist as listed but not for deletion. Not sure how that came to be. Anyways, the old users and data are restored.

Thanks for trying to help!

userdel command for users in OS
and you can delete data from users folder in Vesta -> /usr/local/vesta/data/users/
