How to enable SSL for webmail/

I've installed a cert for the Vesta CP and host itself, but if I go to https://host.domain.com/webmail I just get connection refused message in the browser.

Otherwise https://host.domain.com:8083/ works fine with the commercial ssl cert, and the non SSL http://host.domain.com/webmail still works.

So how do I enable webmail and phpmyadmin for that matter to use https/ssl ?

This was an issue with nginx proxy of the root host configured for the wrong local IP.

My server had two IP's assigned to it, and the local IP was being used for the proxy instead of the public IP. Changed the IP for the host to the public, and it all works now.
