Vesta Control Panel - Forum

Good day.

I want store the backups created by vesta and I have a machine with Debian 8 and ProFtpd. I put backup for ftp (sftp give me problems by the keyword "Contraseña:" an software "expect") but when backup is running, local storage is ok but ftp connect first time and then I get ftp: connect: connection refused.

Can anybody tell me a configuration valid for FTP server and that Vesta could connect?

I use the file ftp.backup.conf because I need to declare a port.

Any FTP server will work - there isn't a specific configuration required.
Give it a go and we can probably help if you have any errors.

sounds like a firewall issue to me.
