Hi,

I notice nearly none of my mails gets through or sent, when they do they get into my junk. How can I use a SMTP for registration mails? When i add a user, it gets sent through my SMTP.

Try to enable SPF, DKIM, DMARC. Check if your server IP is not blacklisted: https://mxtoolbox.com/blacklists.aspx
