Change template to child-ns problem
  • Quote

Post by morcom » Fri May 23, 2014 3:09 pm

My last 2 domains are working well and I had no problem with setting up.
However just started on my new domain -
1. Add domain yourdomain.com (leave DNS Support mark checked) - completed ok
2. Go to DNS menu - ok
3. Click on edit under yourdomain.com - ok
4. Change template to child-ns - problem as I have no box "change template"??

If I check my previous sites DNS menus there is now no box to change the template. It's as if this function has disappeared?

Any help gratefully appreciated

I have just rolled back 24 hours on the server (digitalocean) and it looks like the problem is not there now.
On reflecting I remembered that I did update the core yesterday and all looked ok afterwards
outdated vesta core package Version: 0.9.8 (amd64) Release: 8

Could the update have caused the problem? I'll wait awhile till I try it again.....

Seem to be going round in circles here
