Exim won't bypass local domains
Exim won't bypass local domains
Team, In my VestaCP install I have several domains setup. Some ot them use the local mail with exim and roundcube and seem to work fine. A few other sites use google apps. I have all my sites going through cloudflare fine and I have disabled named in my VestaCP panel.
localdomain > localdomain = works
localdomain > externaldomain = works
externaldomain > localdomain = works
localdomain > localdomain (with google apps email) = does not work
localdomain (with google apps email) > localdomain = does not work
It seems that when I need to send from anything within my VestaCP to a domain that I host but has external email with Google Apps, it fails with unroutable address because it is a local domain. It further seems I may need to add another router in my exim.conf file to get it to search past my local domains but I am unsure the best way to do this or how exactly it should be.

Re: Exim won't bypass local domains
Did you remove mail domain from vesta when you switch to gmail on related domain/account?
Re: Exim won't bypass local domains
I just went through and deleted all domains from /etc/exim/domains that use external mail servers. Now they seem to work. Would be nice to find a different way to do it other than this manual process. I will have to have all new customers notify me if they use external mail prior so I can remove it
