Need help configuring VestaCP for maximum performance

I'm running a virtual server from vultr.com, I'm using the 2 CPU 2 GB RAM plan using the CentOS 6 x64, I'm using vestacp as my control panel and so far I'm really enjoying it, very easy to install and use, the problem is that I'm having really bad performances compared to some bloggers with similar specs, while they are able to do a loader.io test with 10,000 users in a minute and have 0% error rate, my VPS at 1,000 users has a 20% error rate. I'm basically running a simple landing page to receive visitors and it is fairly small, it has 3 compressed images and a couple lines of code as well as an adsense ad. here's a loader.io test I did: http://ldr.io/1EOrVeb I also did a live test using real traffic, I sent 2800 users and only 1800 have been reported, during the live tests graphs spiked up insanely on VestaCP, the test was done at around 15:00, here are a couple of screenshots of the graphs: http://imgur.com/a/XGvQQ , First 4 screenshots are from vestacp and the last one is from vultr.com. As far as I read this type of server should be able to easily manage 3000 users during 2-3 errors yet it gives error to 20%-30% of them, hopefully someone can help me solve this, much appreciated, I'm willing to pay if there is someone to help me fully configure the server.

Try to change Web Template HTTPD from default to phpfcgid, it helped me with my Opencart website with a big DB.

Apache
default - no additional settings, works well for most sites
basedir - to fight against phpshells using openbasedir directive
hosting - separate php limits for each domain (php_admin_value memory/safemode/etc)
phpcgi - template to run php as cgi. can be useful to run php4 or php5.2
phpfcgid - to php as fcgi (automatically installed on a server with > 1Gb of RAM)
wsgi - template to run python projects (can be installed manually)

As a matter of fact, I also need this.

And willing to pay, for someone that understand VestaCP to configure my webserver for heavy traffic website.

Anyone, interested?

Use nginx caching template and error rate for simple and static sites will be minimum.
