[SOLVED] Admin Backup Failed
[SOLVED] Admin Backup Failed
VestaCP emails me: Can't connect to mysql server localhost
I believe the root of the problem comes from having changed the mysql root password. Is there a vesta file I need to configure with the new password?
Solution (thanks lookup)
Edit the file "/usr/local/vesta/conf/mysql.conf" to change the 'PASSWORD' field to the new password.
Note
In the admin panel when clicking "create backup" I get: An existing backup is already running. Please wait for that backup to finish. I did wait and it did succeed now with the updated configuration file. Yay! (PS: I also suspended and unsuspended the CRON backup jobs, not sure if that helped or not :P)
