Can't delete or create database

Hi everybody,
I have vesta panel installed and I have installed owncloud only (without mysql), everything is updated and today for the first time I tried to remove the default database but.. "Error: Connection failed" and if I try to create one I have the same error " Error: Connection failed".
What should I do?
