SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
Re: SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
Can you give one backup for test ?coreXL wrote:Yes, I use the latest version of cPanel and I have migrated around 15 sites and in all accounts I migrated everything but the database.sql
And that's why I was curious because the database was never restored in phpMyAdmin, so I did it manually.
The backup is the cPanel standard, ie the one generated by the system itself.
The database is named %cpanelUser%_databasename.sql
If you have one or can create one account with database content
Re: SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
Today I moved wordpress website from Cpanel to Vesta Cp using SK-cPanel-Importer script.
I did not receive any error during script run, database and files are restored.
But I do not see created database in Vesta CP new-restored user interface. And website got error "database error"
server restarted
packet default exist

Then delete user and try restore it again
This is a vestacp bug, script works fine if you run it in any orther system if not have mysql 5.7
Re: SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
I applied patch.
I deleted user and restored it again.
But /usr/local/vesta/data/users/user653/db.conf still empty.
How can I check that patch is working?

Re: SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
For check, just create database and user, and see if md5= have some md5 string
If you not want problems try orther distro :)

Re: SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
I created test user, everything fine with database -
DB='test_test' DBUSER='test_test' MD5='*1BF3116A5372A85B80F3769F62A5162B482C00EE' HOST='localhost' TYPE='mysql' CHARSET='UTF8' U_DISK='0' SUSPENDED='no' TIME='15:28:00' DA$.......
and again file size of restored Cpanel user
/usr/local/vesta/data/users/user653/db.conf restored user = 0

Re: SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
I cant reproduce this yet. I will test with more backups
Re: SK-cPanel-Importer | Restore cPanel Backup on Vesta
Please test scenario where (in cPanel) the same mysql user is used for two databases, or one database has granted to two different mysql users.
I noticed that importer script creates the same database two times in db.conf, and it brakes backup system.
