Cron Job error for v-update-sys-queue disk
  • Quote

Post by shua » Sun Mar 16, 2014 2:39 am

Sorry I'm a newbie and have no idea where to start. Everyday I get a cron job error from cron job
sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-queue disk
Error: Connection failed
I'm also getting an error from Vesta Control Panel which says
admin → backup failed
Can't connect to mysql server localhost
If anyone can at least give some pointers what to do it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You in advance!

Hello shua!

I am getting this same cron error.

Did you fix this problem?

Cron <admin@fotosrd> sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-update-sys-queue disk

Cron Daemon

Error: Connection failed

Tony.

Hi,
maybe your problem in the database conection
I think Vesta cannot update counters database size

The database is created successfully in the Vesta web interface ?

Sorry, but I realized that I reset the password to mysql root user with the command line because I couldn't figure out how what the password was. Then I realized that I didn't update VESTA so I edited the file /usr/local/vesta/conf/mysql.conf and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Hi shua:
Could you make a step by step of the tasks for beginners.

Thanks in advance.
