yeah, i have noticed this too. but in my case is ridiculous. lol my normal back up was around 3gb, since the update it goes to 22gb!!!!! and takes about 10hours to finish the back up. Please release an update soon because this is making my server unstable and i don't have much space to spare for 60-70gb worth of 3 days backups!

It's released on github. I think, after finishing testing new backup script will be released as an update.

in my debian 7 / 64 bit

yes, it's worked
with ssh command "sudo /usr/local/vesta/bin/v-backup-users"
under "root" command

domain_data.tar hided from backup

i added another domain in vesta cp for testing purposes and then deleeted it back
but after deleetion when i take back up its size is much lesser.

the difference in size was because ( in mydomain.com folder before didn't added the second domain there was a folder with name domain_data.tar) which was not present when i take backup after the deletion of testing domain.
