Hmm... Will try to look into this, but I heard that there was something with SQLite version migration that goes wrong. Don't hang me up on this, it's just what I read.

To be sure, what database is behind this? MySQL (which I assume) or SQLite?

Here's a thought did you check that the roundcube database has been populated? i.e. the sql file for roundcube has been imported into the database?
