Ubuntu 14.04 / empty configuration files

Post by alexcy » Fri Jun 20, 2014 1:18 am

Hello forum,

I have noticed that several configuration files are succesfully created by Vesta (eg AWstats, Webalizer), while in the case of backup (no errors when executed), the backup files are not created at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Sure. The conf files in /etc/awstats/awstats.domain.conf (i know these are symbolic links) are created after awstats activation, however they are empty.

Regarding webalizer, a forbidden page is shown in browser and no conf files are created.

User backups are not created, even though there are no errors in log file (/home/backup is empty), however they are shown in VestaCP interface with a size of 1MB.

There is no bandwidth graph shown.

Thanks a lot for your time and effort.

1.
Delete all archives in a folder of backups

Code: Select all

/home/backup
2.
Delete all lines in backup.conf (don't delete this file, he should be empty)

Code: Select all

/usr/local/vesta/data/users/$user
$user - name of your user in vestacp
3.
change this parameter in user.conf

Code: Select all

U_BACKUPS='0'
he should be zero

Code: Select all

/usr/local/vesta/data/users/$user
$user - name of your user in vestacp
4.
Try to create new backup in the section "BACKUP"

I hope this help you

I have followed your instructions. The backup processes seem to go on fine, however there are still no files in /home/backup ..

Any further ideas?

Thank you for your time.
