Obviously we understand that there is always a free version of the product.
But the ridiculously simple features such as IPv6 (subject of this topic) should be part of basic product (free).

Vesta has no management of IPs blocked by the firewall, or support to modules (addons), that's basic, very basic.

The version of the panel is at the very beginning (0.x.x). If we the opensource community, we dedicate ourselves to use a product that has barely begun to crawl, and will already have the most acclaimed features only in the paid version, so there's no reason to exchange for cPanel.

There is a large group of people who need to configure DNS system using IPv6 in Vesta. Principally population that is migrating to the droplets servers Digital Ocean (cheapest), which provides only one IP (v4) and is now providing some IPv6 ranges.

Sorry, I wish there was another way to contribute to the project, it was not sacrificing the "open source" in the most essential resources (such as IPv6).

Thank you for understanding.

Wow, wow, wow ... All is not lost, there is still hope. hehehe
This is excellent news.

If the "vital resources" of the Vesta are available in the Free version, this will be a good sign.

Now, for my part, there is great reason for us to use the free version on small projects with low-cost servers still in the testing phase, and use the commercial version on larger projects, more complete, more robust, and profitable.

Thanks for clearing imperio.

Hug.

Hello everybody,

I do not want to be inconvenient.
Does anyone know if there is already an estimated time for the next release with IPv6?

Thank U.
Hugs.

Hello,

I saw that was made available the new version of Vesta CP.

Congratulations for the excellent work.

I wonder if this version (0.9.8) is now accepting IPv6 configuration.

I tried setting but appeared this error message:
"Error: ip xxxx: xxxx: xxx: xx :: xxx: xxxx is not valid"

Any prior configuration is required to enable the use of IPv6?

Thank you.
And congratulations again.
