Changing Site Directory For Vesta FTP and Apache

I will be hosting many images on my server along with many sites. The image hosting website will handle a lot of data, so therefore I want to put all that data onto one hard drive just for that site. Therefore, I will need to change the site's directory to /media/harddrive

I understand this is very easy to do within the Apache configuration files, but how can I make it so Vesta FTP recognizes the change in file location of the website?
