Hello there.

I'm very new to VestaCP and to running my own VPS.

Basically I've got a VPS all setup and no problems, it's got 7 domains running on it with a total of like 19 databases or something. Anyway that's irrelevant.

One of the customers I've got now wants to access the "back end" of his domain (fair enough) and in essence, I don't know how to do it.

So my question is how do I basically give that user permission to access that domain so that he can FTP and/or do whatever he wants without it breaking the other domains on the VPS.

Kind regards

As far I know, with Vesta CP you can't move sites from one user to another (yet you cant).

I think, you can copy site data and mysql dump, remove site from panel and then add user, add website, mysql data, and copy data. You must remember change path in scripts and check mysql credits (db name, db user & etc).

Or another way... you have vesta backup, copy this backup and rename (like your user). Then you delete domain, mysql base. And the you add new user and login. After that you can restore data (only data yo want for new user). It's like http://vestacp.com/docs/#how-to-migrate ... her-server

Try ^_^
