  • Quote

Post by navyn » Wed Aug 26, 2015 3:00 pm

Hello Friends,

I have setup my domain on vestacp server.
I am managing my Domain DNS with the help of vestacp DNS tool.

I have created DNS records for DKIM, SPF and DMARC in my vesta cp DNS but they all TXT type records not working.

Only A type records are working.

If any one using vestacp ad DNS server and managing these type of records please suggest me what additional i need to do to make all TXT type record work on vesta cp DNS .

Looking forward to any help from you guys.

Thank you .

I am new to Vesta CP and trying to get email reputation somewhat credible. I completed the Vesta CP install on a digital ocean droplet and setup a SPF record but not sure what else to configure. I notice folks talking about DKIM (that is turned on in the Vesta CP) and DMARC (not sure what or how to configure).

Currently my emails are going straight to spam folder when I send. Any help is appreciated.

some email like hotmail will surely go to spam folder.

If you want to check your mail score use this tool http://mail-tester.com

a normal vesta install that is done correctly will give you 10/10 score.

- Check you SPF record (add your ipv6 address)

Hotmail/Outlook standard blocks all your emails (all emails go to the spam folder). You need to build a reputation. You can build your reputation by sending qualitative emails to some Hotmail address. Every email needs to move from spam to your inbox. You can start with one email a day and go to 10 or 100 or ... emails a day. After some time, your emails normally go to the inbox. The more qualitative emails you send to a different address the better your reputation can be. But don't start with sending 1000 emails a day (newsletter?) . You can check your IP status:
