moving from directadmin
moving from directadmin
Hi Guys,
I got a really old CentOS 5 server, which I need to move over to VestaCP.
Currently it runs dovecot, 2.2.24, I've install vestacp on ubuntu 16.04, it seems to work well.
I have about 15 accounts, with about 10 domains in each.
What is the easier way to transfer:
- Mysql
- Email, including passwords, so the user won't notice any change
My main worry is email.
Thanks

Re: moving from directadmin
You would have to pull apart a Vesta backup, understand how its built, then replicate that logic on your existing server.
For email I would maybe look at migrating them first using ImapSync.
