Hi, I have Ubuntu server 14.0.4 LTS which have lots of traffic on it, as per compliance required we need to upgrade the php version 5.5 to php5.6 so please guide me about the procedure with out hampering the current config & also which packages are depending on it for properly running the websites, currently we are using apache with nginx vesta cp platform. Hope we will get some positive response asap.

Hi it-codeclouds & cboursinos,
please may i know, do u see 2 'php' folders inside your vps ? ('etc\php) & ('etc\php5)..?

I have upgraded my php 5.5 > 5.6 works well. see https://www.dev-metal.com/install-setup ... 14-04-lts/.
But before the above, But actually i tried few other ways also to fix it. Now im seeing 2 php directories on my VPS.
'etc\php' & etc\php5'.
As of vestacp documents, the ubuntu php path should be 'etc\php5'. So somewhere i messed up the installations.
