Error connection to localhost failed

Hello,

I set up my database, but when I want to connect my site to it says:
error connection to localhost failed

It's also not possible to change or delete the DB or to create a new one.

Does anyone has a solution?

Do you changed root password for your database? If so, then you need add new pass in /usr/local/vesta/conf/mysql.conf

I stumbled upon the same error after changing the password via the panel > server > db > mysql > password

After doing some research I noticed that the password value didn't change in /root/.my.cnf however at /usr/local/vesta/conf/mysql.conf it shows me the right password, what I submitted through the panel.
