Is FTP server needed if I have config SFTP?

Hi guys!

I have a couple of vesta panel running with sftp servers. So I don't use FTP server (vsftp is installed but I don't use it). Is remove vsftp server secure?
I don't use it but I'm not sure if Vesta requires it for execute some task.

You can turn off vsftpd whit out any problems if you not use it.

You also can install vestacp whitout ftp
