Why do you want to disable the cert? In my point of view, there is no reason to disable it!

So you dont need the security provided by encrypted ssl connection, when you transmit the username and password?

Easy and free way to get lets encrypt working: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=13057

You can also use the untrusted/self signed ssl cert, but you have to understand, that is important for security using one.

your post doesnt make any sense to me. Don't understand what you meanwith "to old", also the this is just a easy way to copy the le cert with right permission and location to avoid problems with server.

Please provide some logs or more informations, can't login is to common!

your post and thread is totally nonsensical and useless. What is the purpose of deleting the SSL certificate of Vesta ? You can use a self signed certificate... I think v-generate-ssl-cert is the command to generate Vesta's own Self signed Certificate.

In SSH do:

Code: Select all

echo "UPDATE_HOSTNAME_SSL='yes'" >> /usr/local/vesta/conf/vesta.conf
v-add-letsencrypt-domain 'admin' $HOSTNAME '' 'yes'
It will put signed SSL to Vesta, and it will automatically renew it every 2 months.
