domain KO to add records

Post by flacosa » Fri Sep 28, 2018 11:53 am

I have a problem with DNS.

I have added a domain xxxx.net, when adding between 90 and 100 records the DNS server stops responding for this domain.

all domains work correctly except that

ping xxxx.net
ping: unknown host xxxx.net

all domains work correctly except that
Any idea that can happen ??

its a bug?

Thanks

Maybe you have some record with bad syntax and named cant reload.

You need check main named config

There is no limit of records but yes, can fail if you have some wrong syntax and vesta not patch it.

Try delete las records and rebuild dns zone for that domain

Hello!!

vestacp does not let you power invalid characters or spaces. That's not the problem.

I've tried it on with Ubuntu 14 and 16 with DNS cluster.

I have deleted the cluster dns and it continues to fail (only that domain fails in particular) the rest of the domains work correctly.

it's like there's a firewall that blocks that domain.

I do not understand what happens.

Thanks
