HOWTO Install ngx_pagespeed (Google PageSpeed)

Hello,

I am using Nginx + PHP-fpm on Centos, I have followed all your post but i am getting error

./configure: error: SSL modules require the OpenSSL library.
You can either do not enable the modules, or install the OpenSSL library
into the system, or build the OpenSSL library statically from the source
with nginx by using --with-openssl=<path> option.

how to fix this issue?

But .webp don't work and i don't know why

i love vestacp but now i passed way to other panel because of ngx_pagespeed and database error.

I'm stuck with a web app that requires a slow and ancient server, but we put nginx in front of it with page-speed on. It reduced requests to our terrible servers by 70% and massively improved the number of users a single server can handle.

It has a ton of little features that can be turned on and tuned. The way it rewrites the html is pretty amazing. The main improvements for us came from very aggressive caching and CSS and JS concatenation (not something we can easily do with build tools because this web app is so ancient).
