Catchall email getting a copy of Aliases
  • Quote

Post by zdi » Tue May 10, 2016 7:44 am

I have my catchall mail set to [email protected]
I have a [email protected] that has a couple of aliases, "info" and "contact" to reduce number of actual mailboxes.

Whenever I receive an e-mail to info or contact, postmaster gets it too.

Is the routine that checks for existing mailboxes and then sending to catchall BEFORE the check for existing aliases?

THANKS!

Having the same issue here, too.

Do you know any solution?

The issue is still present in the latest version for Debian 9: vesta (0.9.8-23), exim4 (4.89-2+deb9u3). @imperio, is this ever going to be fixed, please?
