Meaning of megabytes add/edit package form

At the package add/edit form in the shown for the admin user only. There are one or actually two settings which confuse me or vaguely require me to make assumptions.

I'm talking about the Quota and Bandwidth fields and to be more specific the text what is behind it between parenthesis "in megabytes". For Quota I'm quite sure that I can safely assume this is the maximum limit for the amount of disk space the account with this package can use. However the most confusing one is the Bandwidth field, because this is usually x amount per period, thus I assume it is megabytes per second just because it usually is per second.

Please let me know what value I should enter if the bandwidth should be 1,25 Mb/s
