Config Paths from Root - Ubuntu
Config Paths from Root - Ubuntu
I've found the documentation for paths to config files, but they all start from /etc/
I'm using Putty and the directories (?) in my root are:
vst_install_backups vst-install.sh vst-install-ubuntu.sh
I can access vst_install_backups which states it contains PHP5.6 and PHP 7, which I've installed.
When I try to access the other two, I get the message: xxxxx Not a Directory.
Oddly, I could access vst-install-ubuntu.sh once yesterday, but never again. I haven't changed anything, but even if I can get back in, is it the right place to be looking for /etc/whatever?
Thanks.

Re: Config Paths from Root - Ubuntu
Maybe my previous post wasn't very clear.
I need to find the path to /etc/ from my server root so that I can access the various config files.
/etc/ is not a sub directory of my root in Putty or the DigitalOcean Console and none of these items seem to take me there:
vst_install_backups
vst-install.sh
vst-install-ubuntu.sh
Surely I'm not the only person to strike this problem?
