privileges problem on database
Hello,
I created a database inside Vesta but in PHPAdmin the database is nowhere to be seen. In PHPAdmin I can't create a new user, I can't create a new database - it says 'admin'@'localhost' doesn't have permission to create a new database. There is no tab to create new user. How do I create new database users, grant them privileges and create a new database in PHPAdmin?
Regards, Bogomil

Re: privileges problem on database
Use VestaCP for manage databases/users, not PHPMyAdmin.direktor05 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 6:55 pmHello,

Re: privileges problem on database
The problem is any database or user created in VestaCP is not shown in PHPAdmin. PHP won't connect to database created with VestaCP. Also in VestaCP I can't add fields to database. I managed to solve the problem yesterday by manually creating new user and granting privileges on CentOS Terminal. Then the database created with VestaCP miraculously showed in PHPAdmin. But I can't replicate this to create the second database.
Re: privileges problem on database
As they told you, access is per user, not global. You must manage the databases one per user.
