Getting an error when downloading pdf in the web

Hi, We are novice in VestaCP. We installed it on Centos 7. Web developer is asking us to check basedir. They are getting an error "Whoops, looks like something went wrong" when downloading a pdf file of the data. Please assist.

What platform / CMS are you using?
This seems to be a problem of permissions or incompatibility with PHP versions and add-ons.
Check in /etc/php-fpm.d the *.conf files and remove the open_basedir line & restart php-fpm.

I joined to solve (among other things... I'm really not a computer expert) this issue, and this did solve it, thanks! Did it work for the OP as well?
