Lets Encrypt on subdomain

Post by Nightmaster » Mon Feb 28, 2022 5:55 pm

Hey there!

I managed to setup ssl on main domain, but it's not working on subdomain. Is there additional steps I should take, or something I should be aware of, and is it even possible to have LetsEncrypt on subdomain level right now?

Thanks!

Check if the subdomain was created in DNS.

VestaCP does not automatically create the DNS entry when creating a new web domain. (I at least haven't found how to do that)

So when I need a new subdomain, I first create the DNS entry and then create the web domain, enabling SSL.

For me it works correctly.
